Virtual Camera Museum 6: Three rather popular SLRs at their time

Virtual Camera Museum 6: Three rather popular SLRs at their time Tube. Duration : 1.62 Mins.

The Yashica FX-3 was a rather reliable model with a mechanical shutter, working even without batteries. (The batteries are only needed for the metering system.) Like many Yashica models, the synthetic materials got resolved after two decades and the leathering has been glued on the body in a do-it-yourself renewal. I took the camera with me on several caminos de Santiago and it was a faithful companion who never failed. Minolta presented the 9000 AF as a high-end SLR after having introduced the 7000 AF as the first successfulauto focus system on the market in the second half of the 80ies. It had no internal motordrive. The Canon EOS 1000FN was a wide-spread auto focus model with integrated winder and flash from the beginning of the 90ies when different program modes got very popular.
